We take your team off the highways and onto the alternative routes, the sand roads and dirt tracks of Southern Africa.  From a range of routes across the country to Swakopmund and Sandwich Bay, to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique and Namibia… interviews with Chiefs and Traders, markets quite unlike the calm and tranquil Woolies of Hyde Park or the Waterfront.

What the team will experience?


The maginificence of the region, the challenge of producing their very own travel documentary and coffee table book. The pleasure of driving a range of fully kitted out 4x4's with all the trimmings, and a diversity of experiences and people in this region.

They will have the opportunity to catch Tiger Fish on the Zambezi, snorkel off the coast of Pemba, photograph Elephant Crossings on the Chobe, quad bike in dunes of the Swakopmund or build bicycles with villagers in Zambia.

Perhaps they might even have dinner with Kingsley Holgate along the way.
 
We also have an option which includes Zanzibar and a trip to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
 

More information on the Process

Process:

This is a progressive teambuilding experience that has two component stages to it.

Stage 1: The Planning

This is a 4 x 4-hour preparation phase where delegates plan their trip and manage all the logistics from vehicle readiness to food and immigration planning

Stage 2:

The journey. This is a 7 day trip and can take in a range of options:

South Africa - Namibia
South Africa - Botswana
South Africa - Mozambique
South Africa - Zimbabawe
South Africa - Zambia

Included in The Road Less Travelled:

  • Professional facilitation
  • Professional technical facilitation and support
  • All entrance fee costs to various venues and petty cash \ set-up at any of our standard venues
  • Technical equipment required i.e. digital cameras, computers, specialised software etc.
  • Data projector, sound equipment etc.
  • Site visit fee if not run at any of our standard venues
  • Car rental costs
  • "Behind the Scenes" movie where we film the teams in action
  • Additional DVD edited copies of the "Behind the Scenes" movie @ R100.00 each excl. VAT. (To be delivered 14 days after the intervention)
  • All venue and venue-associated costs such as meals and refreshments
  • Refreshments and meals for our facilitators
  • Accommodation for our facilitators if required
